anything that is not Breaking the Fast (Islamic Consultation) |
anything that is not Breaking the Fast (Islamic Consultation) - Bismillah was shalatu was salamu 'ala rasulillah, amma ba'du,
Some other things that people consider as a descriptive breakthrough that deserves to be criticized is
- Cry
- Gargle
- Gulped
- Clean the ear hole
- Bleeding
InsyaaAllah on this occasion, we will discuss each,
First, cry
We do not find any postulate that shows that cravings can break the fast. Both the proposition indicates both a firm and a gesture. Moreover, crying is not synonymous with swallowing tears, so it can not be judged the same as drinking.
In Fatawa Syabakah Islamiyah was once asked, whether tears that come out when chopping and chopping onions can break the fast?
Answer Team Fatawa Syabakah Islamiyah,
"The tears that come out by cutting onions or by the smell of onion, do not break the fast." (Fatawa Syabakah Islamiyah, No. 106644)
Second, rinse
One of the many questions to us, can gargle when fasting? Does gargling can break the fast?
We agree that the fasting issue is to eat, drink or be meaningful with it. And we also agree, gargle does not include eating or drinking. Therefore, gargling is not a canceller.
Moreover, there is a very firm proposition which shows that gargling does not break the fast. Hadith from Umar bin Khatab radhiyallahu 'anhu, he recounts,
One day, my lust went up until I kissed my wife, when I was fasting. I also went to the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam. I said: 'Today I am doing a big thing. I kiss my wife when I was fasting. 'Then the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said, 'What do you think if you gargle with water when you are fasting?' 'It's okay, no problem.' Replied Umar. Rasulullah shallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam then replied,' Then why confused? "(HR. Ahmad 138, Ibn Khuzaymah 1999 and sanadnya rated Saheeh by Al-Arnauth Shu'aib).
The Purpose of the Hadith
Kissing when fasting, as long as it does not come out of the semen, does not break the fast. As people gargle with water when fasting, as long as they do not swallow water deliberately, their fasting is not void.
This shows the Companions deeply understand that gargling has no effect on one's fasting. Therefore, Ibn Qudama asserted, scholars agree, gargling does not break the fast. He said,
"Gargling does not break the fast without any disputes, whether ablution or ablution" (Al-Mughni, 3/123).
Third, swallow
Ibn Qudamah gives details on this matter,
Something that can not be avoided when fasting, such as swallowing, does not break the fast. Because avoiding this kind is very burdensome. The case is like street dust or flour scatter.
Then Ibn Qudamah continued,
If the saliva has come out into his shirt or placed between his fingers or between his lips, then he swallows again, or he swallows someone else, then his fasting is void. Because it means swallowing spittle apart from his mouth. So it was the same as when he swallowed other things. (Al-Mughni: 3/122).
The same thing also delivered Sayyid Sabiq. when discussing the things that are allowed for the fasting person, he said:
كذا يباح له ما لا يمكن الاحتراز عنه كبلع الريق وغبار الطريق، وغربلة الدقيق والنخالة ونحو ذلك.
"Similarly, it is permissible to swallow objects that can not be avoided. Such as swallowing, street dust, sprinkling of flour, or bran ... "(Fiqh Sunnah, 1/462)
Fourth, clean the ear hole
We do not know, from where people can conclude this, clearing the ears or the nose can break the fast. Obviously this is a misunderstanding that would be very difficult to justify. If the reason is to insert a single object into the body, this is unacceptable. Because not all forms of inserting objects to the body can be punished for eating or drinking.
Suppose all forms of inserting objects into the body can break the fast, of course gargle can break the fast. Whereas in the beginning, has been affirmed, gargling does not break the fast by agreeing friends and clerics.
Fifth, blood came out
Perhaps the approach here is the law of cupping when fasting. Is cupping when fasting breaks fast or not? Departing from the bruise case, some scholars give the same law for all actions that bleed, such as incisions, light operations, and so on.
Some scholars argue that cupping can break the fast. Based on the hadith of Shaddad and Rafi bin Khadij, Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu 'anhum, the Prophet sallallaahu' alaihi wa sallam said,
"The one who is smothering and being baptized, his fasting is nullified." (Narrated by Abu Daud 2367, Turmudzi 774, Ibn Majah 1679, and al-Albani)
Among the scholars who took this opinion were, Ibn Mundzir, Ibn Khuzaimah, Al-Auza'i, Ad-Darimi, and Ishaq bin Rahawih. This opinion was also chosen by Shaykh al-Islam, and Ibn al-Qoyim.
While jumhur (majority of scholars), hanafiyah, Malikiyah, and Syafiiyah, cupping did not break the fast. And insyaaAllah, this is a stronger opinion, based on several propositions and narrations, among them,
1. Description of Ibn Abbas radhiyallahu 'anhuma,
Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam berbekam when he ihrom and when fasting. (Narrated by Bukhari no 1938)
2. History of Thabit Al-Bunani, he once asked Anas bin Malik radhiyallahu 'anhu,
"Did you (friends) not like to be buried for the fast?" Anas said, "No, unless it can cause weakness." (Narrated by Bukhari no 1940).
3. The information of Abu Said Al-Khudri radhiyallahu 'anhu, he said,
"The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave rukhsoh (relief) to the fasting person to kiss his wife and bury." (Narrated by Ibnu Khuzaimah 1976, Ad-Daruquthni 2268, and sanadnya judged sahih by Al-Albani).
The information of Abu Said radhiyallahu 'anhu,' the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa sallam gave rukhshah', indicates that earlier bruise was forbidden for the fasting person. Because the name is rukhshah, it means there is a laranngan that precedes it. As Ibn Hazm explains in Al-Muhalla (4/337).
Therefore, the intentional expulsion of blood, even in large quantities, does not invalidate the fast, unless it is feared to cause a body of lemes, the law is forbidden as Anas bin Malik radhiyallahu 'anhu claims.
While the blood-borne wound, the clerics insist that it does not affect the validity of one's fasting at all.
